The TVJX7-S was engineered for trailer owners who prioritize speed, strength, and convenience when handling heavy-duty equipment. Whether you're hitching up a dump trailer during the week or leveling your boat trailer at the dock, this jack delivers rapid performance with its drill-powered capability. It includes a detachable hand crank, Trailer Valet drill attachment, mounting hardware, and footplate for a complete, ready-to-use solution.
Designed to save your arm and your time, the TVJX7-S can be operated manually or with any 20–24V cordless drill, letting you raise or lower your trailer in seconds. Just connect the drill attachment and pull the trigger—no more waiting for slow electric jacks or wrestling with a hand crank. Its ergonomic, high-speed operation makes it a favorite among contractors, haulers, and weekend adventurers alike.
The jack supports a static capacity of 7,000 lbs and lifts up to 1,800 lbs manually or 900 lbs with a drill. It installs easily with a bolt-on fixed bracket—no welding required—and offers 6.4 inches of vertical mounting hole spacing for optimal fit. From utility trailers to heavy marine rigs, it’s a powerful choice for anyone needing reliability and flexibility in their jack setup.
With 13.6 inches of lift and an additional 13.7 inches from the drop leg, you get up to 27.3 inches of total adjustment. The welded-on footplate ensures a stable platform for safe loading and leveling. A weather sleeve protects the inner components while reducing friction, and our patented gear system is engineered to reduce heat for longer-lasting, smoother operation. Finished with Trailer Valet’s signature wrinkle black-powder coating, this jack stands up to rust, corrosion, and years of use in all weather conditions.

How do you recommend propping up the trailer for installation?
We suggest using your existing jack, a stabilizer block, jack stands, or wood blocks. You'll need at least 16–18 inches of clearance to properly install the JX.
Do I need to grease the gears before use?
No, the JX comes pre-lubricated. We recommend greasing the internal acme rod every 90 days using the grease fitting near the drive shaft. General-purpose grease can also be applied directly to the miter gears by removing the gearbox cap if needed.
What is the load capacity of the 7KJX?
Static capacity: 7,000 lbs
Lift (manual crank): 1,800 lbs
Lift (with power drill): 900 lbs
What is the recommended drill torque setting?
Use the lowest torque setting that can still lift your trailer. Heavier loads may require a higher torque setting. Always engage the drill slowly to prevent sudden strain on the gears.
Does the JX come with a caster wheel?
No, a caster wheel is not available for the JX 7K model at this time.
Does the JX come with bolts for installation?
Yes, bolts are included for trailer tongues up to 3.75 inches thick. Longer bolts may be substituted if required.
How much does the JX weigh?
The unit weighs approximately 27.5 lbs.
Can the JX be submerged in water?
Submerging the unit is not recommended as it may erode internal lubricants. If exposed to salt water, rinse thoroughly with fresh water after use.
Can the JX be stored outdoors?
Yes, the JX features three layers of weather protection and is designed to be stored outdoors along with your trailer.
What kind of drill should I use with the JX?
Use any 20–24V compact, non-impact drill. Higher voltage models are recommended for better performance on heavier loads.
Is there a standard socket that can be used as an electric drill attachment?
No. Only the Trailer Valet-specific drill attachment is recommended. It is specially designed for a snug fit on the JX driveshaft. Using a standard socket may cause breakage and damage the unit.
